Lisa Maxwell is a recent graduate of Harare International School and the founder of ZimCatalyst. Throughout her high school journey, she had the opportunity to explore scholarships, leadership programmes, and educational opportunities that broadened her perspective and shaped her aspirations. At the same time, she experienced firsthand the challenges and uncertainties that often come with university applications and searching for opportunities beyond the classroom.

Recognising how valuable guidance, information, and mentorship can be during these processes, Lisa founded ZimCatalyst to help other Zimbabwean students access opportunities that might otherwise go unnoticed. She believes that life-changing scholarships, programmes, and resources should not be limited to those who happen to hear about them, but should be accessible to every student with the ambition to pursue them. She hopes to create a platform that empowers young people to discover opportunities, pursue their goals, and unlock their full potential!
